Thanks to a borrowed laptop from my buddy Whitney Roche, I'm able to write you live from the Keep Austin Bizarre Bazaar. The bazaar hit its stride today, filling the Palmer Events Center with hoardes of people spread out among over a hundred vendors.
The 20 foot by ten foot Storyville booth is near the Palmer Center entrance, and it's looking pretty good, in my humble opinion -- six large tables lined up, covered with t-shirts, bags, wallets, purses, calendars, earrings, bracelets, pajamas, onesies and kids clothes. Our tent is decked out with lots of white lights. And, in the spirit of the recession (and as a cost savings measure), we have drawn all of our signs by hand.
The Keep Austin Bizarre Christmas Bazaar runs everyday from 11 am - 11 pm through December 23. Come out to the bazaar, say hello to Storyville and shop local this holiday season.
