2009 - The Year of Storyville - smaller.jpgHappy New Year from all of the Storyvillains in Baton Rouge and Austin!

We're already looking forward to 2009 and to all that comes with it...two big Storyville weddings, the second Storyville Fashion Shownew shelving in both shops, a more prominent web presence and lots of new designs and new designers with an emphasis on Storyville Originals and exclusives.

On March 21, 2009, Storyville returns to the Manship Theatre in downtown Baton Rouge for the Second Ever Storyville Fashion Show.  This year, we hope to raise even more money for the Capital Area Alliance for the Homeless.  We're also working with Alisha Captain Andrepont and the LSU Tiger Girls, who will perform at the fashion show.

On May 29, Storyvillains Greg Moser and Mercie Durham will be wed in Hammond.  Half a year later, on October 17, Natalie Naquin and I will be married in Thibodaux.

Joe McFerrin and I are working day and night on the new Storyville website.  Joe is focusing on adding more features to the website as well as boosting our ranking in search engines.  I'm spending my time adding content to the website.  I've got lots of new photos of new products that I need to get online, including new photos from Jeff Roedel of 225.  We've also got a lot of baby clothes and kids clothes that we will soon be putting online.

In 2009, we're going to bring you more stuff that is only available in Storyville.  We're going to unveil more Storyville Originals designed by Elizabeth Harvey, Marc Fresh, Suzy Elizondo, Gabriel Harvey, Jennifer Mitchell, Ian Stamatedes and yours truly.  We're also going to be rolling out exclusive designs from Will Heron, Evolinium, Sekks Apparel, Giraphic Prints, Art by Mags and Campus Couture

Storyville will turn two years old on January 16, 2009.  And it still feels like we're just getting started.  Stay tuned...exciting times are ahead in the year to come.
