Two months after launching the new Storyville website, we've reached a landmark. We have now uploaded over 100 items from Louisiana and Texas designers. That's big. At its peak, our old website featured 150 products, a total we hope to surpass by the end of November. Keep an eye on our little website -- at the rate we're growing, WearYourStory.com is going to be huge someday in the not-too-distant future.
Having reached the century mark, now would be a good time to that everybody who helped us get here. First of all, we need to recognize Joe McFerrin of IWD for creating such a kick ass website. Secondly, we need to thank all of the beautiful models (who are mostly University of Texas at Austin and Louisiana State University students) who look so marvelous on our website.
Thirdly, we need thank all of the designers for giving us lots of hot stuff to show off. Next, we need to thank all the photographers -- Jeff Roedel, Gabriel Harvey, Jenelle Dronkers, Meredith Cranch, Danny Lachman, Matt Dronkers, Joy Li, Elizabeth Harvey, Rebekah Harvey and June Yukay Oh.
And last, but not least, I want to a very special thanks to Jenelle Dronkers for helping me edit the photos, write web copy and actually get the products online. With Jenelle's help, we might just hit our goal of getting 150 products online by the end of the month. One more thing... Jenelle makes the best cupcakes in the world. Serioulsy, you have to try her banana split cupcakes. Simply amazing. And they're good energy food for working on the website.
