Today, Storyville struck a deal with Austin designer and University of Texas student Suzy Elizondo to begin carrying the artist's unique "Smileforsuzy" line of earrings.
Here's what Suzy has to say about her creations:
"The only kind of jewelry I ever wear is earrings. For me, the funkier and more oddball the better. So I've created a series of earrings for those who share my same love of ear decoration. This is the first series I've come up with. I try to keep them all fun, a little weird, and slightly offbeat. They are all made using shrinkydinks and have been hand drawn and colored by PrismaColor pencils."
That's right -- hand drawn and hand colored shrinky dinks crafted into earrings. Absolutely brilliant.
