Joey Dembrun becomes Storyville's first sponsored athlete

Rejecting offers from Nike, Adidas and Puma, Joey Dembrun of Covington, Louisiana, signed with Storyville Athletics, becoming Storyville's first sponsored athlete. The multi-year deal will make Joey and his wife Angela Centanni Dembrun the faces of Storyville at triathlons, duathlons, bike races, swim meets and road races across the southeast United States.

Joey's first three races representing Storyville Athletics will be:

- August 23, 2008 - Sandestin Triathlon (Sandestin, Florida)

- September 14, 2008 - Pelicanman Duathlon (St. Bernard, Louisiana)

- November 23, 2008 - Ole Man River Half Marathon (New Orleans, Louisiana)

Sorry, not even close to a St. Paul's alumnus. :)
I grew up in Chalmette, LA (5 minutes from New Orleans).
Been in Covington since October of 2004.
