Players Ball 2008 is our seventh annual celebration of "players, hustlers and ladies of the night" and will take place on Friday, September 19 at North Gate Tavern on Chimes Street in Baton Rouge. So far, 72 people have RSVP'd for the event on Facebook even though Players Ball 7 is still two months away.
The Second Ever Storyville Fashion Show ("A Celebration of Louisiana Fashion") will be held on Saturday, November 15 at the Manship Theatre in downtown Baton Rouge. Proceeds from the fashion show will go to the Capital Area Alliance for the Homeless. To date, 102 people have RSVP'd for the event on Facebook, which ain't too bad considering that that the fashion show is a mere four months away.
So hop on the band wagon and get ready for two big events like none other... Players Ball and the Storyville Fashion Show. And if you're not on Facebook, you really should join. It's free, open to everyone and a great way to stay in touch with friends and to keep up with all things Storyville.
