Elizabeth Harvey elected to North Gate Merchants Board

Elizabeth the T-Rex for Storyville Times.JPGElizabeth Harvey has just been elected as a Board Member of the North Gate Merchants Association.  The North Gate Merchants Association represents the commercial interests of Chimes and State Streets in Baton Rouge -- LSU's original retail area.  Elizabeth, representing Storyville, was selected to serve as Secretary of the Board.  Other board members include owners of distinguished businesses such as Louie's Cafe, The Chimes, Smoothie King, Highland Coffees and Tiger District. 

Elizabeth is excited about her new position on the Board, and is looking forward to making the 2008 installment of North Gate Fest (November 14) the best one yet!

Hmmm.... I sure am glad that you used a picture of me doing "t-rex" arms for this entry. Wait, no I'm not.

However, I actually am very excited that Storyville will be on the board this year- it's exciting to know that we'll be able to be even more involved in the continued growth and development of the North Gates neighborhood!
