Many thanks to Natalie for putting the party together. Natalie and I also celebrated our one year anniversary on Thursday. Natalie said that my siblings Seth, Elizabeth, Gabriel, Rebekah, Mercie, my sister-in-law Katie and my father Allen and stepmother Mercedes really helped her pull it off. Natalie coordinated the entire event via Facebook and e-mail, making it all the more amazing that I didn't find out (considering how much time I spend on the Internet).
Seth made a ginormious carrot cake from scratch. Gabriel drove in all the way from Austin to come to the party. Joey and Angela Dembrun as well as my grandmother Charlotte Todd and uncle Terry Todd came in from New Orleans.
So, to sum things up, I turned 30 in style. They say that 30 is the new 20. We shall see. I'm off to a good start.

Yay, Josh I'm glad you were surprised! Too bad Blake's teacher wouldn't let him get out of attending class that night. I know we would have had a lot of fun! I'm glad you had a fun birthday!
