Storyville had a busy day on Saturday. A team of Baton Rouge Storyvillains, representing Storyville Athletics, ran the Race for the Cure. Greg Moser, Mercie Durham and Elizabeth Harvey finished the race to the delight of the downtown crowd. Congratulations are due all around. Mercie and Greg, who held hands the entire way as they ran, completed their first 5K. Elizabeth overcame an iPod-induced strawberry (blood and all) to prove that she was, in fact, a hardcore runner.
Going south by southwest to Texas, Storyville kicked off the Storyville Road Show with a visit to Georgetown. This quaint town of 30,000, located 30 miles north of Austin, is the county seat of Williamson County and the home of Southwestern University. Anyway, Georgetown hosts "Georgetown Market Days" every second Saturday of every month. Storyville will be back in beautiful downtown Georgetown on Saturday, April 12, and if you're in the area, we hope to see you then.
