ColdTowne's "See. Hear. Speak." festival is a wrap

coldtowne_image1.jpgCongratulations to Chris Trew and ColdTowne Theater on the successful completion of their third annual "See. Hear. Speak" improv comedy festival.  On Saturday night, Storyville brought a crew of eight to the show, including Joy Li, all the way from Houston and Whitney Roche, all the way from Baton Rouge.

At the Saturday 10 pm show, we laughed heartily at Brock LaBorde's reading from his Semi-Complete Guide to Sort of Being a Gentleman (available on Amazon.com).  We also we're blown away by Minneapolis' Jill Bernard comedically brilliant improvised tale of a Spartan boy struggling with Roman influence -- and teen angst.  Minneapolis' queen of improv sang and danced her way through the sometimes epic, often ridiculous and always hilarious story.

Anyway, we're already looking forward to See. Hear. Speak Part 4 and we strongly encourage anyone in Austin who has not yet been to Coldtowne to check it out.  You will laugh your ass off.
