Storyville calls out Kip Holden, drops names in radio interview

November 14, 2007 by Josh Harvey

jim_engster_fb_profile_txt.jpgJust in case you didn't catch this morning's interview on WRFK 89.3's The Jim Engster Show, we've got the highlights for you.  First of all, we publicly asked Mayor Kip Holden, the most fashionable man in Baton Rouge, to come to the show.  We have not yet heard back from the Mayor's office, but we're not giving up yet.  Mayor Holden is probably just about to pick up the phone and call us.  Whatever Mayor Holden is up to, we're quite sure he's keeping busy and looking dapper all the while.

Secondly, we dropped a few names on the radio.  All apologies, but we just can't help ourselves.  So, in a span of 14 minutes, we managed to work in shout-outs to SuperMaggie (Maggie Kleinpeter), the dance troupe Robot Circus, the Capital Area Alliance for the Homeless, Governor Blanco, Governor-elect Jindal, the world famous DJ Otto, designers Josh Ford and Danny Ryan from Giraphic Prints, Former Senator John Edwards, local activist Shanelle Matthews, LSU football legend Billy Cannon (and his daughter Bunnie), the Dirty Coasters from New Orleans, Baton Rouge bomber Brad Jensen (Icon Visuals), the Storyville Austin crew, Magazine Street's Metro Three, West Monroe's Mojo Ware and other fabulous folks.  Whew!  When we drop names, we drop a bunch.
